CETAC Technologies Announces Spring and Fall 2009 ICP-AES and ICP-MS Training Series

Omaha, NE --- CETAC Technologies announces the Spring and Fall 2009 ICP-AES/ICP-MS continuing education series. The courses have been designed to appeal to personnel with varying backgrounds and to satisfy the continuing education requirements of quality programs. Course dates have been established for 20-23 April 2009 and 21-24 September 2009 and will be held at the CETAC office headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

Topics include lectures on basic atomic spectroscopy and an introduction to both ICP-AES and ICP-MS instruments. Areas such as instrument components, calibration, background corrections, interelement corrections and certain applications will be explored. In addition to classroom instruction, laboratory sessions will provide hands-on experience with ICP-AES and ICP-MS instrumentation.
